This tut was created using Paint shop Pro 7

You will need:

Paint Shop Pro

Simple Filters

Ok let's begin!

1. Open a new transparent image 100px X 100px

2. Click view/rulers

3. Click on selection tool, and create a selection starting
at the top left corner and bringing it down to 50 across and 50 down.




4. Click layers, new raster layer

5. Floodfill with second color



6. Selections/Select None
7. Image flip.





8. Layers/merge visible

9. Edit, copy, edit paste as new selection. line it up as well as you can..



10. Then image flip

11. Select, select none



12. At this point use simple quick tile just
to make sure it's a seamless tile.

You are done! :)


Now you have the choice of leaving it as is.. or resizing
to suit yourself. You can either resize by going to image,
resize, and resize the percentage by 50%.. or just
click on the style box and change the scale to 50 or 25
before flood filling your background tile.

You now have a seamless tile which
you can use to floodfill a bkg strip!
