A Child’s Memory

I’ve seen a vision in my inner mind
knowing where to find me on the inside.
I feel a long way from who I want to be
nagging at me from a Child’s Memory.
Brighter than an empty mind.
Darker than another time.
Children wander by so they can see
the woman in the mask of mentality.
I hide behind illusions of the world,
running ever faster.
I can’t seem to find the answer
or the Spirit of the Lord in the
shadows of my birth.
Brighter than an empty mind.
Darker than another time.
