backgrounds from masks! Just think of the possibilities! :)

Supplies

You may get the mask and tube

: here :

You will need Paint Shop Pro 9
Simple Quick Tile, Adjust Variations and FM Tile Tools

We will be creating the scrolling bkg on this page

Let's Begin...

Open the tube
Open a new 500 X 500 Transparent Image
Then choose two contrasting colors from the tube

For the foreground I chose #afd7c3
For the background I chose #0a5847
Flood fill with your foreground color, Go To
Layer, New raster layer. flood fill with your background color.

Go to Layer, load/save mask, Load mask from disk and chose the ripple01.msk, click load. Layers, Merge Flatten. Now go to Effects, edge enhance once. Simple Quick Tile

Here is what it should look like now.

Click on effects, FM Tile Tools, blend emboss using these settings
You can play with the intensity lever to suit yourself :)

And Finally Adjust Variations, click once to darken
